are you? well here is teh cheech work around. for those of us that dont use kill tracker heres a quick way to have virtually unlimited bind space.
by using multiple excecutable .cfg files, one can easily toggle between bind sets. this would be very useful for people who either: a) run a server or b) have more than one in-game personality..
first you must know how to create a .cfg (config file) if you dont already know how please see my thread on creating one in this section.
lets say you run a server and want a quick way to kick a player but you don't want to waste your bind space with a bunch of hot-keys. heres what ya do.
1st open your jampconfig file located in your gamedata>base folders. once open copy the f1-f12 binds you currently use in addition to any other keys you would like to rebind and place them into a new .cfg file. name that file normal.cfg (for example, you can name it whatever you like just make sure that the activation bind name in the second .cfg matches the name you choose). place the following in the .cfg and save it into your gamedata>base folder.
//normal
bind f1 "say oh wow man.."
...
bind f12 "say yes way man"
bind x "exec kick"
where x is the toggle key you use to switch between the set-ups. it can be any key!
create the 2nd config file and call it kick.cfg for instance. in this case we will map on the f1-f12 keys for kicking, we will also need an activation key that toggles the bind set, make sure that the x key is the same key in both .cgf files. once you have created it save it to your gamedata>base folder.
//kick
bind f1 "rcon clientkick 1"
...
bind f12 "rcon clientkick 12"
bind x "exec normal"
if you really want to pimp out your kick bind set you can add binds for other keys like forcespec and status and what not :p
with both .cfg files saved, you can now launch jka. to get the toggle working simply executing either of the .cfg's by opening your console and typing either exec normal or exec kick this will start the toggle chain and you can hence forward switch between the two bind sets by pressing the x bind key, and its that simple. if you ever want to add more binds to either set simply open add the information to both .cfg's and save.
if you want to use the same method for creating multiple bind sets for different in game personalities just add the name change command to the start of your .cfg eg.
//normal
name "cheech"
bind f1 "say oh wow man.."
...
bind f12 "say yes way man"
bind x "exec kick"
